ITANAGAR, April 18: The Arunachal Government has constituted a "project formulation committee" to get possible funding from national and international agencies like the World Bank, reports PTI. An official statement said here on April 16 that the committee was constituted under the guidance of Arunachal Pradesh Minister for Environment and Forest Nabam Tuki. The committee will function within the framework of guidelines on the subject and in consultation with the Ministry of Environment and Forest, Union Government. The six-member committee comprising senior scientists and forest officers of the department shall work under the chairmanship of Rabindra Kumar, director of State Forest Research Institute here. Divisional forest officer SK Bhandari will function as member secretary of the committee, the statement said. In view of the limited resources in the State Budget, assistance from national and international donor agencies were needed to under-take research and development activities of the department, the statement said.
