CBI to probe power scam in Arunachal

NAHARLAGUN, March 22: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Mukut Mithi has disclosed that Central Bureau of Investigation would soon visit the state to investigate the much talked power scam handed over to them by the state government a year ago. Responding to a question by Takam Sorang of Congress in the House whether CBI is active in the state Mithi said, yes, CBI authority has responded to initiate action on the cases handed over to them. 'So far seven cases including the power scam have been handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation' he said, adding 'the CBI has intimated that their team would be visiting the state for investigation relating to the power scam and the pension fraud cases of Seppa, Bomdila and Along very soon.'
