Ex-Mizoram minister joins BJP

AIZAWL, January 11: Former Mizoram Veterinary Minister P Lalbiaka on Wednesday left the Congress and joined the BJP, a press release issued here by RL Rina, general secretary of the Mizoram unit of the BJP said, reports PTI. Lalbiaka, a minister during former Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla's regime, is the younger brother of the Late president of the State BJP, P Lalchhuma. He was inducted to the party at a function held here where hundreds of booklets on the achievement of BJP-led government and messages of the party central leadership written in Mizo language were distributed, the release said.
