HPC-D owns up kidnap of 4 in Mizoram

AIZAWL, April 23: Manipur's Hmar People's Convention Democrats (HPC-D) militants said they had kidnapped four persons from Mizoram to "pressurise the state government on their demand for a separate autonomous district council inside Mizoram", reports PTI. Meanwhile, State Home Minister Tawnluia yesterday said the Government had not received any demand political or otherwise from the outfit and had also not received any appeal for talks.
