Imphal, December 31: The Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup today afternoon around 3 pm released all the five persons in its custody. The decision to release them was taken after the appeal made by the people of Manipur. The organization has not decided to take back the decision to kill the Education (S) minister Maniruddin Sheikh according to a signed statement by Lanngamba Mangang who issued a signed statement. KYKL's action will depend on the future actions of Maniruddin Sheikh he said. He however warned to all those working in Education (S) not to be involved with corruption. No one should try to get job by giving bribes he said. In future the organization will not do give warning, nor consult with the people. All involved in corruption will be killed he said. Opinions given privately and openly were different he said. All those who gave their statements in the press said all should be pardoned. But those who gave their opinions secretly advised them to kill them he revealed. 'We know that the upper middle class are corrupted people. Everybody must be aware of the desire of KYKL to have quality education he added. From now on anybody who are found involved in any corruption will be killed' he warned. Human resource and knowledge capital are the national wealth he said. The majority of the people do not support corruption he said. Why corruption level in Mizoram is so low he questioned. Cutting down corruption is a process of decolonization he said. It said it is not supporting colonialism or the present system. The programmes taken up by KYKL are not reforms but social regeneration programmes he said. The KYKL does not want appreciation he said. All the five persons were produced before the media in Thoubal district. All the five give confessional statements before the media. Raghumani said he received Rs 75,000 from four persons. He gave the name of the four persons. He said he committed a mistake and said he has three kids. Two have started going to schools. He said he does not challenge the stand taken by KYKL. He said he will not do anything related with corruption. He said he has sinus problems. He was given medicine, hot water and treated well by the KYKL cadres. Nashir Ahmed, Inspector Excise said Maniruddin is his uncle. He got only Rs 5,000. The selected persons gave Rs one lac to Maniruddin who did not accept it. Nashir later took the money and gave the money to Nashim, wife of Maniruddin. Nashim took Rs 20,000 above the Rs one lakh. He took Rs 5,000 from the candidates. Priyo said he was not fully involved. He simply calculated the money. It was revealed that Rs 40,000 was given to Nabakishore. Thoiba Mangang on behalf of the KYKL Central Committee said the organization will now act without giving any warning.
