IMPHAL, January 4: The political circles in Manipur are keeping their fingers crossed with the prevailing imbroglio involving the ruling and Opposition fronts becoming more and more complex day by day. It is like a lottery game between the ruling and Opposition and it is not known what direction the political winds will blow in the coming days. The spokesperson of the Opposition and president of the Manipur People's Party (MPP) O Joy Singh has claimed that the Union Home Minister LK Advani has given enough indication that the Centre will throw its weight fully behind the recently formed Manipur Democratic Front (MDF) in its effort to dethrone the Nipamacha-led Ministry in Manipur. The Opposition leader, who returned from New Delhi after meeting the Union Home Minister and other Central leaders, stated that the Home Ministry was fully convinced that the situation in Manipur was pretty bad.
