Tadik Chije inducted to Mithi ministry

ITANAGAR, Jan 24 : Arunachal Pradesh State Planning Board deputy chairman Tadik Chije, MLA was inducted to the Mukut Mithi ministry as cabinet minister on Friday.

Governor Arvind Dave administered the oath of office and secrecy to Chije in a simple ceremony at the Raj Bhawan, which was attended among others by the Chief Minister and his cabinet colleagues.

With the induction of Chije, the strength of the Mithi ministry has again become 40, including 24 of cabinet rank. The assembly is a 60-member one where the Congress has 59 seats and the opposition Arunachal Congress just one seat.

Speaking to the media just after swearing-in ceremony, Chief Minister Mukut Mithi said, the portfolio to Chije would be allocated within a couple of days.
