AIZAWL, Dec 9?Mizoram Chief Minister, Zoramthanga today allocated portfolios to the 14 ministers sworn in on Thursday, reports PTI. Zoramthanga kept to himself finance, taxation, planning, general administration, political cabinet, vigilance, power, industries, art and culture, public works and other departments not allotted.
Among the Cabinet ministers? Tawoluia was given home, public health engineering and personnel and administrative reforms while R Tianghmingthanga was allotted health, social welfare and secretariat administration. Another senior cabinet member Lalrinchhana got animal husbandry and veterinary, transport and relief and rehabilitation while rural development and trade commerce were allotted to Aichhinga.
Dr R Lalthangliana was allotted school education, environment and forests and information and public administration and H Vanlalauva kept local administration an district council affairs while R Lalthlengliana was allotted revenue, fisheries and soil and water conservation. The new cabinet minister (who was not in the last ministry) H Rammawi was allocated agriculture, horticulture, law and judicial and parliamentary affairs.
All the five ministers of State were allotted independent portfolios. Among the ministers of state, K Vanlalauva got prison and printing and stationary while K Sangthuama was allotted food and civil supplies and sericulture C Lalrinsanga was given tourism and cooperation. Z H Ropuia was allotted sports and youth services and labour and employment while another new face Dr Lalzama was given higher and technical education and excise.
