NEW DELHI, April 20 ? Nagaland Chief Minister SC Jamir on Friday met Home Minister LK Advani here and is understood to have held detailed discussions on the Naga peace process, reports PTI. The Home Minister also reviewed the law-and-order situation in the State, besides discussing issues concerning the Naga peace process, Home Ministry sources said. The process has been going on at a smooth pace with Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee meeting the two top leaders of National Socialist Council of Nagaland (Issak-Muivah) at Osaka, Japan last December. However, the State Government has been insisting that the other faction led by Khapland be included in the peace talks. Acceptance of the State Government?s demand to include NSCN (Khaplang) could annoy the NSCN(I-M) which is a bigger and more powerful group in the North-east, the sources said, adding, this could prove detrimental to the peace process. Assembly elections in Nagaland are scheduled early next year and there are reports saying NSCN(I-M) were not averse to floating a political front and joining the poll process. However, in the recent past the NSCN(I-M) and the security forces have blamed each other for violation of the ceasefire accord. This, the sources said, could affect the ongoing process of talks.
