KOHIMA, April 1: The NSCN(IM) on Friday termed Thursday's security forces raid of the office of its Information and Publicity wing in the town as 'clear violation of ceasefire ground rules,' reports PTI. NSCN(IM) Information and Publicity secretary V Horam said security forces personnel swooped down on the office and took away a computer set, fax machine, tape recorder, three telephone sets, a cordless telephone, some books and printed materials and personnel belongings. He said 'it is a clear violation of the ceasefire ground rules.' Army sources said the security forces raided the office of NSCN(IM) Information and Publicity wing in the town and picked up certain members of the outfit. During the raids, they recovered an AK-56 rifle, with 57 rounds of ammunition and extortion notes and documents of its alliance with other militant outfits in Karbi Anglong and NC Hills in Assam. Meanwhile. traders and business community at Dimapur opened their shops on Friday after downing their shutters on Thursday protesting the picking up of 10 businessmen, including prominent ones, by security forces for 'interrogation.'
