Time is up perhaps for setting up an authority on Satriya dance form so that the artistes performing the art form can be made to adhere to some uniform code of conduct, or else, in the post-recognition period as a major Indian traditional dance form, it will soon land itself in chaos. Leasing out ATC gardens: Assam Govt bid to expedite process

NEW DELHI, May 4 ? Alarmed at the plight of the tea workers, Assam Government has decided to expedite the process of leasing out the Assam Tea Corporation (ATC) gardens, even as Chief Minister, Tarun Gogoi asked the Commerce Minister to organise a national seminar on the predicament of the tea industry. Bid to boost Assam tourism
