Security tightened along Indo-Bhutan border

GUWAHATI, July 12? The security forces have geared up operations along the Indo-Bhutan border in the wake of the Royal government?s pressure on the militant groups operating from different hideouts of that country. Official sources today disclosed that the security forces are keeping a close watch on the border to prevent the militants from sneaking into the state. ?The entire Indo-Bhutan border is sensitive and hence we have to remain vigilant to foil any attack of the militants?, the sources said. ULFA relocating camps in Bhutan

GUWAHATI, July 9 ? The United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) and the National Democratic Front of Boroland (NDFB) have started relocating their training camps fearing a joint military operation in the southern part of Bhutan. Assam, WB police to synergise ops

The police forces of Assam and West Bengal have decided to improve coordination to check the activities of the militants belonging to the United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) and the Kamatapur Liberation Organisation (KLO).
