IMPHAL, February 7: Some underground organisations in Manipur have started smuggling narcotic drugs, particularly heroin, after they faced problems extorting money from the people, a top police executive said, reports PTI. 9 policemen gunned down in NC Hills

GUWAHATI, February 8: Nine policemen were killed and three others received bullet injuries when they were ambushed by extremists in north Cachar hills district this morning.
