Arunachal won't compromise on territorial integrity

ITANAGAR, Jan 24? Arunachal Pradesh had never been a party in the peace talks between the Centre and the NSCN(I-M) and would never compromise with its territorial integrity, State Chief Minister Mukut Mithi said today, reports PTI. In the name of ?Greater Nagaland?, the NSCN had no scope to demand the territory of Arunachal Pradesh as the area was never part of Nagaland, the Chief Minister told PTI after a swearing-in ceremony at the Raj Bhavan Friday.

Imphal, January 25: The Deputy Manager of the Food Corporation of India Sadhasivam who was kidnapped by the suspected underground cadres from a place along the Imphal-Moreh road has been released safely this afternoon. Bamboo boon in revival layout

Guwahati, Jan. 25: The Cane and Bamboo Technology Centre in the Assam capital will collaborate with the Bangalore-based Indian Plywood Industries Research and Training Institute to chalk out a strategy for reviving the plywood industry in the Northeast using bamboo.

This was decided at a regional seminar on ?Revival of closed plywood industries in northeastern region using bamboo? in Calcutta.
