GUWAHATI, Dec 12 – Technical education is to be upgraded and expanded in six North-eastern states-Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura besides Jammu & Kashmir and the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, stated a PIB release. This is being done at a cost of Rs 329 crore and would be completed in five and a half years.
