IMPHAL, April 23: An intelligence officer who recently returned to Imphal after serving a long time in Ukhrul was today shot down by a lone assailant at Dingko road Dewlahland in broad daylight. Deputy field officer of Special Bureau (SB) Imphal branch, BK Mishra 35 of Bihar was coming out of a privately owned telephone booth at Chingmeirong when the assailant who came in a three wheeler got down and shot him two times before leaving the scene without much ado towards Lamlong bazar.
