Arunachal govt hikes royalty on timber

ITANAGAR, March 2: The ruling Congress Government led by Mukut Mithi in this Himalayan State has hiked the royalty on all categories of timber and other forest products by 15 per cent with immediate effect. Horticulture: Centre to give Rs 32 cr to Arunachal

ITANAGAR, February 4: The Centre has agreed to provide Rs 32 crore for development of horticulture in Arunachal Pradesh which has the ideal agro-climatic condition in this regard, State Horticulture Minister Zapu Deru said on Saturday. NE states demand lifting of curbs on foreign tourists

NEW DELHI, August 6: After the Central Government's permission to allow foreigners to visit Nagaland, the Union Home and Tourism Ministries have received demands for lifting restrictions on the foreign tourists in other Northeastern states as well.
