Rights panel takes up priests' attack cases

IMPHAL, February 9: The Manipur Human Rights Commission has taken up a suo motu case in connection with the attack on Father Tommy Manjali at the Canchipur Catholic School, on February 2 by unidentified persons. The commission issued notices to the Principal Secretary, Home and DGP, seeking reports of the incident and progress of the investigations.
