SAMDRUP JONGKHAR (BHUTAN), Dec 20 ? The drive against the NE Indian militants in Bhutan is purely a Bhutanese operation and there should not be any doubt of the involvement of the Indian Government in it. Mixed response to 48-hr ultra bandh

GUWAHATI, Dec 20 ? The 48-hour Assam, Boroland and Kamatapur bandh called by the banned ULFA, NDFB and KLO evoked mixed response and partially affected the life in the State today. Mizo leaders differ on split

Aizawl, Dec. 19: The Mizoram People?s Conference (MPC) today said the formation of the new political party did not constitute a split. ?The people who have formed this new party are all non-residents of Aizawl and are not party functionaries at the general headquarters. NSCN denies aiding outfit

Dimapur, Dec. 19: The National Socialist Council of Nagalim (Isak-Muivah) has denied the Kuki Inpi?s allegation that the former was providing logistic support to the Kuki Revolutionary Army (KRA) rebels. The apex body of the Kuki tribe in Manipur had recently urged the NSCN (I-M) to restrain the KRA cadre who are engaged in a series of bloody clashes with Karbi outfit United People?s Democratic Solidarity (UPDS) in Karbi Anglong district in Assam.
