GUWAHATI, April 6 — The Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) under the provisions of amended Sixth Schedule of the Constitution of India, is likely to be formed in the first part of May. IMPHAL, April 4 — The Border Security Force, Nagaland and Manipur sector is likely to conduct more recuitment rallies sooner or later in Nagaland. DIBRUGARH, April 6— The Weights & Measures official at the Assam Legal Metrology department have found to their dismay that the Northeast Frontier Railway is flouting the Standards of Weights and Measures (Enforcement) Act, 1985 and the Assam Standards of Weights and Measures (Enforcement) Rules, 1994. Jorhat, April 6: There is a flip side to good news, as the authorities of Assam’s Kaziranga National Park have learnt to their cost.

The good news first: the population of the one-horned rhino, deer and buffalo has registered a marked increase over the past few years, which is a remarkable turnaround for the poaching-hit game reserve.
