MR men beat man to death at Litan

Imphal, March 02: One person was beaten to death by two MR jawans at Lungangching, Litan, under Ukhrul district this morning around 9.30 am, according to reports reaching here. The deceased has been identified as PS Wingnayu Tangkhul, 35, hailing from Maram, presently residing at Lungangching. Kathalguri power project marked 'excellent'

GUWAHATI, Feb 28 ? The Kathalguri gas based power project of the North Eastern Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCO) has become the first power station of the North-eastern region to be declared as the centre of excellence by the Government of India. Govt assures safeguard to non-Bodos in BTC
