Boori-boot in Arunachal celebrated

ITANAGAR, Feb 7 — Boori-boot, the most important festival of Hill Miri tribes of Arunachal Pradesh was celebrated with traditional gaiety and religious fervour in the state on Wednesday, reports PTI. Governor Arvind Dave greeted the people on the occasion, and said the people of Arunachal Pradesh are nature lovers and worship nature for the welfare of entire humanity. Adivasi Cobra ultras extend ceasefire

GUWAHATI, Feb 7 — The Adivasi Cobra Militant of Assam, a militant group operating in lower Assam, has extended its unilateral ceasefire following a discussion with the Chief Minister, Sri Tarun Gogoi.
