CEA clearance to Subansiri Lower Hydel Project

GUWAHATI, Jan 19 ? The 2,000-MW Subansiri Lower Hydel Power Project has been given the ?Techno-Economic Clearance? by the Central Electricity Authority (CEA). Resistance hurdle for Tipaimukh

Imphal, Jan. 12: At a time when it appeared that all hurdles in the way of the Tipaimukh project had been cleared, a group persistently opposing the power project is now preparing a resistance movement against the dam. Singda hydel project trial likely in Aug

Imphal, July 06: The Singda Dam Mircro Hydel Power Project which will harness 750 KWs of electricity from the dam is likely to be commissioned in August this year. Construction work at Khuga dam resumes full swing
