Assam, WB police to synergise ops

GUWAHATI, July 1 ? The police forces of Assam and West Bengal have decided to improve coordination to check the activities of the militants belonging to the United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) and the Kamatapur Liberation Organisation (KLO). Talking to The Assam Tribune, the Inspector General of Police (Law and Order), Sri Sibabrata Kakati said that he recently had a meeting with his West Bengal counterpart and decided to have frequent interaction and sharing of intelligence.
