Governor takes over charge of KAADC

GUWAHATI, March 15: The Governor of Assam, Lt Gen (retd) SK Sinha today took over the power of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous District Council (KAADC), official sources said. The Governor has directed the Karbi Anglong deputy commissioner to hold the election of the chairman of the district council by March 19 and the other executive members within the next couple of days.
