Opposition says no to tie-up with MNF

Silchar, Dec. 11: The Mizoram People?s Conference (MPC)-Zoram Nationalist Party (ZNP) combine has ruled out the possibility of aligning with the ruling Mizo National Front (MNF) even if it is offered a stake in the government. The statement follows reports about chief minister Zoramthanga toying with the idea of forming a coalition to lend stability to his government.

Manipur, Mizoram set up joint power commission

IMPHAL, Dec 11?In a significant development, Manipur and Mizoram have set up a joint power commission to study the problems and grievances being faced by the consumers of the two neighbouring states in the north east region. BSNL plans mobile phone connections in NE

GUWAHATI, Dec 11 ? The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is planning to provide 95,350 mobile phone connections in the north eastern region of the country.
