Tripura govt planning to set up medical college

AGARTALA, Dec 10 ? The Tripura Government is contemplating to set up a medical college in the State in collaboration with the Manipal Group. Chief Minister Manik Sarkar held a detailed meeting with the Planning Commission Deputy Chairman KC Pant and Chairman of Manipal Group Dr TA Pai on the matter. The Manipal Group seemed keen to come forward in setting up of a medical college and hospital in Agartala.

Nagas have consensus on unification: Rio

GUWAHATI, Dec 10 ? ANVC backs Sangma as talks facilitator

Somewhere in the Garo Hills, Dec. 10: The banned Achik National Volunteers Council (ANVC) wants former Lok Sabha Speaker Purno A. Sangma as a facilitator in its peace talks with Delhi. In a recent exclusive interview to The Telegraph, ANVC general secretary Wanding Marak said the outfit had ?resolved to include Sangma in the peace talks?.
