RAPL environment report submitted

In an encouraging development, Reliance Assam Petrochemical Limited (RAPL) today submitted Environment Impact Assessment Study report on gas cracker project to the Ministry of Forest and Environment (MOFE). Tripura offers safe passage to insurgents for talks

AGARTALA, April 11 ? Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Wednesday said his government would provide safe passage to the state?s insurgents if they came out to hold talks with State or Central Governments, and ruled out the need for enforcement of POTA in the State, reports PTI. Centre clears AIDC proposal

NEW DELHI, April 11? The Ministry of Commerce has cleared an Assam Industrial Development Corporation (AIDC) sponsored proposal for setting up a multi-crore Agriculture Export Processing Zone (AEPZ). The proposed project would be set up at Balipara in Sonitpur district.
